Man dead on railroad identified

The body of a 25-year-old man found dead on the train tracks in the Wolf Creek area in Lincoln County on Thursday, Oct. 6, has been identified as Darren Joseph of Connecticut.

According to a press release from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, Joseph was killed in the early morning hours of Oct. 6. It appears he was a stowaway on a container train and fell off the train onto the tracks in the dark of the morning, according to the release.

The incident is still under investigation by Burlington Northern Santa Fe special agents and the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office. At this time the death appears to accidental.
