With losses to Polson and Whitefish, the Lady Loggers soccer team finished with a record of 0-12.

The team had a tough journey through the season, forfeiting their first game against Stevensville due to lack of players, and suffering a series of injuries through their games, including Abby Creighton tearing a ligament in her arm. Another injury shocked the team when, during a match, keeper Shannon Reny was taken away by ambulance after suffering a seizure caused by a concussion.

Girls soccer coach Jay Forsyth said the team improved through the season, despite the challenges that came their way. In their final game, the teams weren’t evenly matched and the conditions weren’t in the Lady Loggers’ favor.

“The conditions were pretty tough, it was pouring rain in Whitefish,” Forsyth said. “We played better in some positions but Whitefish is a good team.”

While the team wasn’t able to make many shots on the goal during the game, keeper Reny made 15 saves.
