Libby, put your dancing shoes on!

I want to congratulate Brent Teske, Gary Beach and Kristin Smith on their recent appointments.

In my opinion, the days of ego-driven narcissitic politics are behind us. I have observed Mayor Teske working hand-in-hand with Councilwoman Peggy Williams (the senior, most experienced council person) to ensure a smooth transition in administration. Councilman Beach is already contributing value through work on the building committee, and Councilwoman Smith is bringing a base of knowledge, which includes promotional, bureaucratic and budgetary experiences.

I am seeing cooperation, not competition, between the councilors. I am seeing complimentary forces and sincere people stepping up to do the work. I believe Libby has reason to put dancing shoes on their happy feet and move toward the future.
