A fresh face on the hair styling scene plans to offer a little of the traditional and a little of the new with her array of skills.

Alicia Edwards will be working as an independent contractor working out of the salon, the Pinup Girls.

She will provide haircuts, perms, protein treatments, facial waxing, hair coloring, gel and acrylic nails and much more.

“I do a little of everything,” Edwards said. “Hair, nails and some waxing. Also, I am fresh out of school so I have been taught traditional techniques along with new ones and new styles.”

She’s a new face to the business community, just graduating from Crevier’s Academy of Cosmetology Arts in Kalispell in October.

Edwards has lived in the area most of her life, and said she always comes back.

“It is so beautiful here and I love how friendly our community is,” she said.
