As the campaign treasurer for Tricia Brooks, I am responding to Robin Schiferl’s letter to the editor (Oct. 21).

Tricia is totally in compliance with campaign finance reports.

It is a false statement that Robin has worked with Tricia, so how would Robin know who the “clear choice” is?

Tricia is the administrative assistant to the clerk of district court.

An employee does not advance to this position without extensive knowledge of the law, computer skills and professionalism, both personal and working.

During the public forum held prior to the primary election in Troy, Robin’s responses were based upon her computer knowledge. The clerk of district court position is much, much more than just computers.

It’s hard for me to believe Robin has the knowledge needed to judge Tricia.

Tricia far and above answered the questions as they related to the position and law than any other candidate.

Tricia has the knowledge and mental strength that is needed in this position.

I believe our voters care more about a candidate that has the experience in the clerk of district court office.
