Oct. 27, 10 a.m. — A scam phone call was reported when a resident received a call from Nevada resident reporting that her grandson was in jail and the attorney needed money wired to him.
Oct. 27, 11 a.m. — A student at Central School was cited for criminal possession of dangerous drugs and paraphernalia.
Oct. 27, 2 a.m. — On Wards Road, suspicious activity was reported when an individual was seen on a resident’s property while they were out of town. The shop appeared to be broken into. The suspect was seen getting out of a red or maroon Ford Ranger.
Oct. 27, 9 p.m. — Dispatch received a call from an individual’s friend, who reported that the friend was having suicidal thoughts and had jumped out of a vehicle while being taken to the hospital.
Oct. 28, 1:30 p.m. — Another scam phone call came in telling a resident that their grandson was in need of funds.
Oct. 29, 11:30 a.m. — An individual reported to officers that she had her sister’s children for the past few days and her sister’s boyfriend came to pick up the kids and appeared to be so “drugged out of his mind” that the sister was afraid to hand over the children to him.
Oct. 29, 2 p.m. — Dispatch received a call from a resident on Kern Road who reported that they came home to find their DVD and ATV ramps missing.
Oct. 30, 4 a.m. — A woman, hiding under a trailer, reported that her boyfriend was freaking out and fighting with his brother.
Oct. 30, 2 p.m. — A third party reported that a male resident was having suicidal thoughts.
Oct. 30, 9:30 p.m. — Officers responded to a residence where a female was threatening suicide.
