The Lady Loggers’ softball season came to an end in the double-elimination Western B-C Divisionals this past weekend.

The girls started strong in their quest for a state tournament berth, beating Mission 13-6, but then fell in consecutive games to Ronan and Plains. Against Plains the Lady Loggers held strong until the fifth inning, but then gave up nine runs to end up falling 11-1. They fought a much harder offensive game against the Trotters of Plains, racking up 14 runs but giving up 18 to come up on the short end of the scoreboard and bring the season to a close.
