Pegge J. McDaniel (Bitterman) was born March 25, 1932, in Libby. She passed away from natural causes on April 1, 2016, in Vancouver, Wash.
Pegge was an avid birdwatcher and nature lover, which was evident in her paintings. Family and friends will remember her pleasant laugh, mischievous personality and wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed, but never forgotten.
She is preceded in death by parents Albert and Naomi Bitterman and brother Thomas Bitterman of Libby and husband R. Bruce McDaniel. Surviving family includes children Truly Paollili (Patrick), Mark McDaniel, Joseph McDaniel (Bettina) and Melody Baker (Michael); 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and nephews Dwain and Dean Bitterman.
A celebration of life was held in Vancouver, Wash., with a private memorial with family. Pegge was cremated with ashes spread at a beautiful location.
