Three Loggers place at Cabinet View Invitational

The Libby Loggers golf team hosted the 2016 Cabinet View Invitational Friday, with three Loggers earning top-10 honors at the event.

Libby Freshman Ryggs Johnston led the Loggers, shooting a one-over 73 to claim second place honors at the tournament. Senior Jonny Cielak finished third, shooting 75 for the day. Bigfork’s Joseph Potkonjak shot a 69 to claim the victory. 

On the girls’ tees, Lily Feeback shot a 95 to claim a tie for second place with Ronan’s Brooklyn Olson. Jade Ladeaux of Plains secured the win with a 91.

Ronan, the only school to field a complete team, claimed the overall girls’ championship with a combined score of 407. Bigfork led the boys’ field with 341, followed by Ronan at 377. No other schools fielded full teams.
