Truth and justice will prevail
Letter to the Editor:
It isn’t that Tony Berget can’t focus on the issue, the truth is his politics of character assassination only work using deflection, lies and innuendo.
When Tony and then-City Attorney Charles Evans slandered Walt McElmurray with a twisted version of the Doctrine of Incompatible Offices, it was the truth that Walt only held one office as defined by the rule of law that restored Walt’s good name and supported the will of the voters.
When Tony, with motion and second from appointees Lee Bothman and Doug Roll, attempted to violate the will of the voters by removing Stu Crismore, the rule of law and the truth prevailed and Crismore had his good name restored from their slander.
When two cops told me the City Clerk exhibited signs of instability when she spit on them for not signing a policy statement without reading it first, the truth came out in court. I didn’t even have to hire an attorney to win that case and restore my name. Despite Doug Roll’s efforts to remove me, the will of the voters prevailed.
Doug Roll, James Reintsma, Bill Bischoff, Barb Desch, Vicky Lawrence, Robin Benson and Peggy Williams are in trouble for attempting to harm Allen Olsen’s good name while stealing an American election. The court proved Olsen the most credible and truthful, and restored his good name. The will of the voters was upheld.
The Commissioner of Political Practices has issued a decision which found sufficient truth to hold the Chicago 7 accountable for cheating Doug Roll into office and violating the will of the voters. I am confident that truth and justice will prevail.
I’m not Tony Berget’s enemy. The truth, rule of law and the will of the voters is his enemy. Personalizing the issue doesn’t change the facts.
D.C. Orr,
Libby
