Sharon Elaine Koehler, 74, of Libby

Sharon Elaine Koehler, 74, formerly of Ft. Collins, Colo., died Friday, June 24, 2016 at her home in Libby, MT. She was born April 19, 1942 in Ft. Collins, Colo. to Jake and Frieda Rosenoff. She graduated from Ft. Collins High School in 1961.

She married Jerry Koehler on August 27 1961 and had three children. She was a farm wife, tree potter at Colorado State University Forest Service. She retired in 2013 from Walmart in Ft. Collins where she was a greeter for 18 years. Her hobbies included camping, fishing, bowling, playing cards with family and doing search word puzzles. Anyone who has met her will likely remember her for her collection of frogs. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, two grand daughters and one great-grandson.

Survivors include her children, Dee Nipper from Ness City, Kan.; Don Koehler from Sharon Springs, KS; and Debbi Holmes from Libby, Mont.; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and her sister Judy Gunther of Wellington, Colo.

A funeral will be held Thursday, June 30 at 2 p.m. at Warren-Bohlender Funeral Chapel in Ft. Collins, Colo.

Her wishes were to be cremated so there will be no graveside services. All family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at the T-bar in Wellington, Colo. after the services. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.schnackenbergfh.com.
