Libby man released after arrested for felony drug charges
A Libby man has been released on a $26,000 bond after he was arrested on felony drug charges.
Jeremiah Kendall, 35, of Libby, was arrested on felony drug possession and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia after a Lincoln County sheriff’s deputy allegedly found methamphetamine while executing a search warrant for Kendall’s home. Deputies, along with agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, raided Kendall’s home on June 23 and reported finding crystal meth and two meth pipes and two marijuana pipes.
Kendall was released after posting the $26,000 bond on the same day.
Kendall also posted a $50,000 bond earlier this month after his initial bond was revoked for violating the conditions of his release. Kendall paid the initial $10,000 bond after he was charged with assault in Lincoln County on May 25, but that was revoked and he was issued a new bond after another assault charge, this time in Missoula County, breaking conditions of his release. Kendall was held in Missoula County on a $75,000 bond but was able to post the money to be released. In addition to the $86,000 posted for his releases in the past six months, Kendall also posted a $920 bond when he was arrested for obstructing and escaping a peace officer.
Kendall’s preliminary hearing for the felony drug possession charges is set for July 22.
