Ruth Lucille Campbell Richards, 88, of Libby

Ruth Lucille Campbell Richards, 88, of Libby passed from this life on Friday, July 15, 2016 surrounded by her family at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center. She was born on March 31, 1928 in Springfield, Mo. She was the daughter of J. E. and Minnie Andrews (Campbell). She was the youngest of four children.

Ruth married Harold Eugene “Gene” Richards on June 20, 1947. They moved to Libby in 1958. Ruth worked as a librarian at the Lincoln County Library for 28 years. She was an active member of the Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband Gene and sons Jimmie and Larry.

Survivors include her children Becky Parrish (Kenneth), Walnut Grove, Mo.; Duane Richards, Libby; Judy Pewitt (Bruce), Yreka, Calif.; Joe Richards, Williston, N.D..; and Debbie Orcutt (Robert), Fishers, Ind.; her 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and a loving church family.
