| July 12, 2016 11:37 AM

After a long battle with metastasized lung cancer, Wesley G. Ostheller, 81, went home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Dec. 28, 2015.

Wesley was born Nov. 27, 1934, in Libby, Mont. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Ostheller; father, Edward Ostheller; and brother, Harry Ostheller. Wesley is survived by his wife, Nancy Ostheller; daughter, Korri Ostheller-Munyan (husband, Lee Munyan); three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Wesley was born and raised in Libby. He graduated high school in 1953 and went on to serve in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper from 1954-1956. After being honorably discharged from the U.S. Army, he attended college at Montana State University and graduated in 1964. Upon graduation, he and Nancy moved to Kalispell where he worked as a Civil Engineer with the U.S. Forest Service for 23 years and retired in 1987. After retirement from the U.S. Forest Service, he started two businesses, Evergreen Mill Supply and Specialty Products of Libby. He eventually retired in 2007.

Wesley lived his life with passion. He was a true ‘Montana Man’. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, archery, golfing and bowling. He loved his family and friends with everything he had, and those who knew him best would tell you he would do anything for those he loved. Wesley will be deeply missed.

There will be a celebration of Wesley’s life held at Logan State Park on Saturday, July 16 from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. To RSVP please email celebratewesley@yahoo.com.
