A Libby man was given four years suspended after pleading guilty to a felony drug charge.

District Judge James Wheelis on Monday sentenced Fernando Munguia, of Libby, to four years suspended with the state Department of Corrections. Munguia pleaded guilty in April to criminal possession of dangerous drugs in accordance with a plea agreement that allowed two other drug charges, criminal distribution of dangerous drugs and another felony possession, to be dropped. In the conditions of his sentence, Munguia will not be allowed to consume alcohol and a probation officer will monitor a drug-testing.

If Munguia violates the conditions of his probation, he could be sent to the state prison for the remainder of his sentence.
