Oregon bullies should be ashamed of their behavior
Letter to the Editor:
Who are these bullies in Oregon who have decided that they have the right to appropriate our federal lands for their own selfish use? Shame on them.
They use their guns and their aggressive presence to thumb their noses at the rest of us who are equal owners of the property they have decided belongs only to them. Now they are attracting others of equally low character to this Oregon community where they are not wanted, and where they dare to intimidate local residents as well as our federal employees. The people who are employed or who work in the area are local residents who just want to be left in peace so that they can continue to earn a living and preserve the beauty of our natural environment.
We should not be surprised to find these particular jerks enjoying their egomaniacal posturing. They come from a family of welfare ranchers who have for years been living on the dole and on our land at taxpayer expense.
As we all know, bullies are basically cowards. When challenged they become spiteful and dangerous and inclined to do harm without thought to who may suffer.
Little children are being kept from school because of the threats of violence that these small minded people use to bring attention to themselves and to their warped sense of cause. These people are stealing from us and from the local community. They need to stand aside. They need to be arrested for trespass and made to pay for what their presence costs us daily.
Beware, Montanans. If they are not stopped they will soon be on our own doorstep.
