Hospital promotes Leighty to senior HR position

Erin Leighty was recently promoted to the position of senior human resources generalist by Cabinet Peaks Medical Center. 

Leighty, who has been with the hospital for more than eight years, has 12 years of experience in the field of human resources. She has Bachelor of Science in business administration and holds Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certifications as well. Leighty lives in Troy with her husband, Darwin, and daughter, Aisha.

She said she enjoys the challenges of human resources work and the atmosphere at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center.

“There are many challenges in the field of human resources,” she said in a press release issued Dec. 22, 2015. “But I truly enjoy what I do and really like working with the staff at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center. I believe in providing excellent service to our staff, applicants, patients and managers. I look forward to a new year.”

Bruce Whitfield, chief executive officer of Cabinet Peaks Medical Center said Leighty will do a great job in her newposition.

“I am thrilled to be able to provide this opportunity to Erin and I know that she will do a fine job,” he said. “We thank her very much for stepping up to take on this new and expanded role and know she will do an excellent job for our organization.”
