Chasity Marie Christensen, 40, passed away Feb. 18, 2016, at Life Care Center Richland, Wash., surrounded by her loved ones. Chasity was born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. on March 24, 1975. She shared her birthday with grandma Florence McElmurry and they had many special celebrations together over the years.

She worked many years in the Highlands Middle School lunch program and had a special bond with the lunch ladies and many of the students that she served. She was an accomplished knitter and enjoyed creating hats, sweaters and warm socks for her family. Chas, KC and Cooper spent many weekends perfecting the landscaping at their home. It was her labor of love and the results were always awesome. Chas was a dedicated Seattle Seahawks fan, extremely proud to be a 12. The Seahawks foundation recognized her with a gift of gratitude upon hearing of her illness. At Chasity’s request there will be no service.
