The crowds on both side were making all kinds of noise when the time ran out on Troy’s clock on Tuesday. The game ended with the Lady Loggers having a one-point lead 47-46 over the Lady Trojans, handing the Troy girl’s team their first loss of the season.

The Lady Loggers were 24-for-29 shooting from the free-throw line, an advantage over the Lady Trojan’s seven of 14, which carried Libby to the win.

Allie Coldwell scored a game-high 23 points for Troy in the loss. Libby’s Jayden Winslow finished with a team-high 18 points; Shannon Reny added 15 more.

The Troy Basketball teams went to Thompson Falls on Thursday night, but results were not ready by press time.

Libby will venture to Eureka on Jan. 3 for “The Battle of the Kootenai.”
