Boy Scouts continue community repairs

More touch-ups are being brought to Libby, this time at Kootenai Valley Head Start.
Jarun Graziano and a team of seven made repairs to the Kootenai Valley Head Start playground equipment over the weekend.
Graziano, working on his Eagle Scout final project, along with his father Mark Graziano, brother Roman Graziano, mentor Ken Rayome, Todd Reno and Steve Boyer made repairs on the playground equipment on Friday and Saturday.
The team made repairs on the wood, including replacing broken boards and sanding and sealing the old wood. They also fixed the two benches on the outside of the playground and replaced the swing seats and chairs. After they were done making repairs, the group raked the playground sand to make it level.
According to Kootenai Valley Head Start Director, Peggy Rayome, the equipment gets a lot of use and was in much-need of repairs.
“[Jarun’s] a really good kid,” Ken Rayome said, “This playground gets used all the time. It needed this for quite a while.”
