August 6, noon — Dispatch received a call about a fire on Miller Creek Road.

August 6, 1 p.m. — A Libby resident came into dispatch with fraudulent signatures on paperwork.

August 6, 5:45 p.m. — A witness told police that he saw someone shoot a turkey.

August 6, 8 p.m. — The Libby Volunteer Fire Department was paged for a tree on a power line causing smoke.

August 7, 3 p.m. — Several calls came into dispatch reporting lightning strikes causing a fire on a mountain top 12 miles south of Libby in the Poker Hill area.

August 7, 7:30 p.m. — A resident called to speak with a deputy about his landlord making threats to beat him up.

August 8, 11 a.m. — Someone reported a pontoon boat trolling down the Kootenai River with no one aboard.

August 8, 12:45 a.m. — Dispatch turned a report over to the Kootenai National Forest service about a fire near Fritz Mountain.

August 9, 9 a.m. — An individual dialed 911, asking for assistance in getting up from their chair. The individual advised that an ambulance was not necessary.

August 9, 11:30 a.m. — An individual’s identity was reported stolen in Lincoln County.

August 9, 11:30 a.m. — A local gas station employee reported to dispatch that a woman drove off without paying for gas. The woman was apparently on her way to work, and went back to pay for the gas.

August 9, 2:30 p.m. — A woman reported to dispatch that, she lost her wallet and phone when she moved last year and now she has learned that someone has started a phone account in her name. The woman said she now owed several hundred dollars in phone payments because of the incident.

August 9, 3:30 p.m. — A scam phone call was reported in the Lincoln County Area. The scam call claimed to be “Dish Network” wanting her to pay $150 on a credit card.

August 9, 8:30 p.m. — Criminal mischief was reported on Louisiana Avenue, when a caller told dispatch that their pickup’s window had been broken out.

August 9, 9 p.m. — An individual reported that there was a possible lightning-strike fire that could also be a street light.

August 10, 11 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported when an individual walked into the Troy Dispatch to complain about someone who was illegally dumping garbage at the green cans.

August 10, 6:30 p.m. — Several juveniles were reported trespassing on city property.

August 10, 10 p.m. — A caller reported to Troy dispatch advising that there was an individual cutting down a tree on private property.
