The Le Tour de Koocanusa annual bicycle tour will take off from David Thompson Bridge on Saturday at 8 a.m.

The tour goes to benefit David Thompson Search and Rescue, a branch of the Lincoln County Montana Sheriff’s Office. Search and rescue provides the response for overdue, lost, injured or stranded people from an emergency incident in diverse environments.

The bike course consists of 83 miles and loops in a clockwise circle around Lake Koocanusa, crossing over the lake on the Lake Koocanusa Bridge near Rexford and following the lake back on the other side on Highway 37. The course then finishes where it started, on David Thompson Bridge.
