Washington man arrested for indecent exposure
A Washington man has been charged with indecent exposure after he was seen revealing himself to three girls, two 11-year-olds and one 10-year-old.
Eric Daniel Gray, 20, of Spokane, Wash. was arrested on Friday near Rexford on charges of indecent exposure with intent to gratify himself. In Lincoln County Justice Court on Monday, Justice of the Peace Jay Sheffield set Gray’s bond at $10,000 and his preliminary hearing for Sept. 8.
According to court documents, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Robert Salyer was dispatched to the Abayance Bay Marina near Rexford on Friday, where a man had been reported for exposing himself to three young girls. Salyer spoke with the girls and their mothers, all visiting from Canada.
The girls reportedly told Salyer they were swimming in the reservoir when Gray approached them and began making small talk. He asked one of the girls to be his girlfriend, additionally asking for her phone number and if he could visit her in Canada. The girls told Salyer that during the short conversation, Gray had his hands down the front of his pants, masturbating in front of them. One of the girls told Salyer that she saw Gray continue to masturbate once they were further away.
In his report, Salyer said Gray was very nervous during his interview. The deputy then spoke with Gray’s mother, who told him Gray was autistic and is currently on probation for indecent exposure charges in Spokane, for which he spent some time in jail.
After arresting Gray, Salyer found he was a registered sex offender in Spokane with numerous indecent exposure charges, as well as a few other charges.
