Schwan's, Costco products recalled

Frozen vegetables purchased through Costco and Schwan’s in several Montana counties have been recalled due to possible listeria monocytogenes.

The products recalled include 10 ounce packages of True Goodness by Meijer organic petite green peas with a use by date of Nov. 26, 2017 and organic white sweet corn with a use by date of Nov. 21, 2017; four pound packages of organic mixed vegetables with a use by date of Oct. 25, 2017, and organic green peas with use by dates of Feb. 10, 2017,  Feb. 15, 2017, and March 16, 2018; Organic By Nature - Canada 2.5 kilogram packages of organic green peas with dates of Oct. 22, 2017, Dec. 3, 2017, and March 16, 2018; Organic By Nature four pound packages of organic green peas dated Oct. 25, 2017; Organic By Nature five pound packages of organic green peas dated Feb. 15, 2018; Organic By Nature five pound packages of organic vegetable medley with shelled edamame dated Feb. 11 , 2018; Organic By Nature four pound packages of organic white supersweet corn dated Nov. 19, 2017; Organic By Nature five pound packages of organic white supersweet corn dated Sept. 13, 2017, and Schwan’s 16-ounce supersweet yellow and white cut corn, package number 2B5320.

Lincoln County Public Health advises anyone with these products in their homes to throw them out immediately. People who consume these products, especially young children, the elderly and pregnant women, risk adverse health consequences.
