Lady Trojans drop two to Anaconda

The Lady Trojans traveled to Anaconda Saturday, dropping both games of a double-header to the hosting Copperheads.
The Lady Trojans battled neck and neck with the Copperheads in the first game, with six lead changes in the first four innings. The Lady Trojans had fallen behind 5-4 after three, but poured in a four-run fourth and held the Copperheads to just two to take an 8-7 lead into the fifth.
The Copperheads would not be denied on their home field, however, and drove in 13 runs in the bottom of the fifth to end the game.
The Lady Trojans couldn’t get their bats moving in the second game, and fell 11-0 after four and one-half innings. The Lady Trojans managed just four hits in the second game.
