Libby golfers heating up the links

Libby’s dynamic duo shot their way to first and second on the links for the second consecutive tournament, leading Libby’s boys to a third place team finish.
Jonny Cielak and Ryggs Johnston finished with 72 and 74, respectively, to earn first and second place at the Eureka Invitational at Indian Springs Ranch Golf Club Tuesday afternoon. The pair also finished one and two at last weekend’s Loyola Spring Swing, with Cielak shooting 67 and Johnston 69.
On the girls’ tees, Lily Feeback’s 97 earned her third overall, with teammate India Croucher shooting 130 for ninth place in only her second-ever tournament.
“It was another great outing for the Libby Logger golf team,” said coach Dann Rohrer. “It is a difficult golf course and a very windy, challenging day to play golf. Jonny Cielak continues his great play and Ryggs Johnston is right behind him. The boys posted their first team score with the new players continuing to improve and helping the team to a third place finish. On the girls side we also saw good scores. Lily Feeback towards the top of the girls players and India Croucher posted her first top ten finish in only her second tournament.”
The Loggers played in Bigfork Thursday afternoon, but results were not available as of press time.
