Aug. 26
• A caller on Lakeview Road reported an ongoing dispute with a neighbor who had been working on an adjacent property. The caller reported receiving harassing messages.
• A person called from the emergency room to report a cat bite. The call was referred to animal control.
• A woman called to report a Jeep passed her on Second Street and almost ran her off the road. She filed a complaint, which was forwarded to the Montana Highway Patrol.
• An anonymous caller reported kids on dirt bikes creating a traffic hazard.
• A man on Cedar Meadow Road reported sighting a bear. The call was referred to Fish and Game.
• A caller reported the theft of a longboard from a residence on Louisiana Avenue.
• A caller from Iron Creek Road in Troy reported a neighbor for running a chainsaw.
• A caller from Bobtail Hill reported people cutting wood. The call was referred to the Forest Service. Two additional calls reporting the same activity were recorded.
• A caller on Vanderwood Road reported a neighbor was freaking out and running around yelling. Deputies responded but the person would not answer the door.
• A woman from Conifer Road called to report her cat was acting very strange. The call was referred to animal control.
Aug. 27
• A caller at the end of the Fifth Street Extension reported witnessing a man beating a woman with a wooden spoon.
• A man was arrested on Sullivan Creek Road after fleeing from officers on a motorcycle and crashing. He was charged with failure to give right of way to an emergency vehicle.
• A caller reported horses in the road on U.S. Highway 2.
Aug. 28
• A caller on U.S. Highway 2 reported a bear in his yard. Caller was advised to make sure garbage cans were put away and to leave the bear alone. Fish and Game was notified.
• A caller on Garden Road reported mules loose, again. The owner was notified and she went to round them up.
• A caller on Quartz Road reported finding a dead dog that may have been poisoned. Animal control was notified.
• A person brought in a wallet that was found at Riverfront Park. When deputies called the number on file for the owner, they were informed it was the wrong number.
• A traffic accident was reported to 911 on East Sixth and Dakota. A woman was transported to the hospital and a fire engine was dispatched to wash off the road.
• Libby Police responded to a local auto dealer for a case of vandalized vehicles.
• A woman on Whitetail Way in Troy reported the theft of her water.
• A caller on Michael’s Draw reported an abandoned U-Haul in a ditch. The rental company was notified and retrieved the vehicle.
• A woman called to report suspicious activity in an alley at Eighth Street and Michigan Avenue.
Aug. 29
• A man was reported walking down Cedar Street yelling at the top of his lungs. The man refused medical attention.
• A man on Longbow Lane reported a male and female were snooping around his property.
• Montana Highway Patrol was notified of a low-hanging electrical wire on Larch Street.
• A driver was cited at Louisiana and Eighth Street for speeding and no proof of insurance.
• A person on Tailback Lane requested assistance with an individual he wanted removed from his property.
• A woman on Vanderwood Road reported her husband had been huffing brake fluid and was driving toward town.
• A woman called to report a man yelling at his girlfriend at Fourth Street and Minnesota Avenue.
• McCormick Fire was dispatched to a fire at Yaak River and Long Meadow.
• A caller reported a suspicious person at Kingdom Hall, deputies were unable to locate the individual.
