An open letter to law enforcement

| September 8, 2015 8:47 AM

In today’s violent anti-police climate we just wanted to write you and your families an open letter, representative to all the wonderful and brave police officers in this nation.  A letter that I hope you will pass on and share with police across this nation.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts to the tops of our brains, and everywhere in between, above and below that too, for everything you and your families do, and suffer through, for us.

I am certain I speak for most of America who want to praise, and to remind all you wonderful police officers, that we, the vast majority of this country, love and respect you. We want you to come home safe and sound every day. We appreciate your work and the difficulties you face on a daily basis protecting us from the violence and crime that would surely befall us if you were not there to stop the evil intentions and actions of the criminals in our communities.

Please remember us, the grateful and respectful, when you are attacked by these morons in our society and by our idiotic political leaders.  Remember us when your hearts sink and you feel unappreciated and disrespected and when you are asking yourselves, “why am I doing this?” Please remember for most of us you are treasured, needed, loved, respected and prayed for.  Please remember we the innocents are why you do this. And please, most of all stay vigilant and safe and come home to your families, please.
