Todd Byington

49, of Libby

On Oct. 23, Todd Jeffrey Byington, 49, of Libby, departed this life at his home in Libby. Todd graduated from Libby High School in 1985 and later continued his education and training at Spokane Community College. Todd was employed at the Libby Dam.

One of eight children, he had a love for family. He was a son, a sibling, beloved uncle and an incredible father figure. Todd never faltered to help others, whether in times of need or in times of celebration. If there was anything that he thought he could possibly do for anyone, he’d offer his time and ability. He had a huge spirit, loved the outdoors and all seasons, and took advantage of all the opportunities that nature provided. He was the first man in the line to volunteer, for personal friends and family, or for our community. Todd was a great friend to all, and a brother to many.

Todd is preceded in death by his dad, Charles “Buzz” Watkins II.

Todd will be greatly missed by many, but especially by his family: mother Leeanne Watkins; father Vern Byington and wife Charlene; brother Travis Watkins and wife Charlotte; brother Tracy Byington; brother Steve Byington and wife Lisa; brother Charles “Bear” Watkins III and wife Johnette; sister Darcy Watkins-Carvey; sister Kimberly Rose Wehrman and husband Rob; and sister Kodi Watkins-Hubler and husband Ray; forever children James and Kurtlyn Aarstad; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and his forever brother and lifelong friend Allan Randall.

Private family services are being held. Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.schnackenbergfh.com.
