Northwest Community Health Center has expanded their service offerings, adding four additional medical care providers and one new pharmacist to the clinic’s staff.

Elizabeth Wolsfelt, PharmD, joined the clinic staff after completing her doctoral work at the University of Montana. According to a press release from Northwest Community Health Center, “she has played a vital role in getting NWCHC’s in-house and clinical pharmacy services up and going. Currently, Ms. Wolsfelt is working directly with patients who have complicated medication regimens to help improve safety and adherence.”

Wolsfelt is heading up the center’s new pharmacy, which is preparing to open its medication dispensary services. Once the new pharmacy is ready, the center plans to add a second pharmacist to its staff.

Dr. Samantha Pyle is the newest physician at Northwest CHC. She is a 2008 graduate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine and finished her training at the Martin Army Community Hospital and Family Medicine Residency in 2011. She is board certified as a family practitioner. She is a native of Cutbank.

Laurie Stone is a Family Nurse Practitioner, who moved to Libby from Virginia where she had been practicing since 2009. She has a wide range of experience, including previous work in a community health center.

The clinic has also added two Certified Physician Assistants to its slate of providers.

Chad Rebo, PA-C is a Libby native who earned his Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Utah in 2013. Rebo worked for a busy family medicine and urgent care clinic in Utah before returning home to Libby in September 2015 to begin working at Northwest.

Matt Bauer, PA-C earned his Masters from the University of Idaho and joined Northwest in November 2014. He has worked in family medicine, orthopedics, emergency medicine and general psychiatry.

Maria Clemons, executive director of Northwest CHC, said the new additions help the center provide quality medical services to the greater Lincoln County community.

“Having a full multidisciplinary staff of primary care providers will provide improved access to top quality care for many people in our area,” she said. “It will additionally allow expanded same day appointment access for healthcare services, which is a top priority of our organization.”
