The Trojans’ season was on the line Friday night, needing a win against the Bigfork Vikings to propel them into the post-season. The Trojans couldn’t find an answer for Bigfork’s Jonathan Landon, however, and fell to the Vikings 49-7.

Landon ran for two touchdowns, from 14 and 11 yards out each. He threw for two more, a 6-yard score to Adam Jordt and a 48-yarder to Logan Taylor, and then caught a fifth, a 48-yard pass from Jordt. He also played tough on the defensive side, picking up two points for dropping Troy’s Tucker Winn for a safety.

The Vikings got on the board first, with two touchdowns in the first quarter. Troy answered in the second, with a 73-yard strike from Sean Opland to Winn, but Bigfork came right back, scoring two more touchdowns and a safety before the halftime whistle blew.

The second half was all Bigfork, as Landon ran for another touchdown and tossed one to Jordt in the third, with Gabriel Broughton running in another in the fourth to put the cap on the game.
