Please help those in need during the holiday season

Letter to the Editor:

The Libby Food Pantry is making its annual appeal for help in fulfilling our goal of “a bird in every basket,” for our Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday food baskets.

This year we have seen a significant increase in the number of households that we serve, so we really need the public’s help.

We have the opportunity again this year of doubling our donations, through the Town Pump matching funds program, on the first $4,000 of donations we receive. Your donations in the past three years have helped us reach our goal as we received the full amount of matching funds each year.

To help us, simply mail your donation to the Libby Food Pantry, P.O. Box 311, Libby, MT 59923. All donations are tax deductible, as we are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

All of the volunteers of the Libby Food Pantry sincerely thank you for your kind and generous assistance in helping those in need have a happy holiday season.
