Judge decision was corrupted

Letter to the Editor:

I just wanted to comment on the city fiasco of appointing the city judge. If you look up all of the events that took place that led up to appointing the position, it was already a cut-and-dried decision to renew the contract for the current judge with no regard for anyone else who applied.

Go figure. As this mess was being dealt with, the judge was already attending training on the city’s dime, with full expectation of filling another four-year contract. This took place before the City Council even began a discussion of the appointment. I call that corruption of the process, again.

How many times does this have to happen before someone is tarred and feathered? I guess there are too many questions and not enough truthful answers.
