Anthony John Pajas

74, of Bella Vista, Ark.

On Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015, Tony Pajas of Bella Vista, Ark., went to be with our Lord. Tony was born March 27, 1941, in Detroit Mich., to John and Helen Pajas. He was 74.

Tony’s true passion was being a veterinarian for the people and animals of Lincoln County. He opened his practice, Treasure Valley Clinic, in 1974. He considered all his clients, both furry and not, to be his friends and extended family.

After retiring from his practice, Tony’s ambitions turned to bringing Libby into the Internet age. He worked relentlessly with several key partners and our community leaders to set up Kootenet, Libby’s first Internet provider and by the fall of 1994, Libby was online with the world.

Even though he left Libby after his second retirement, Libby was always his home. He always spoke fondly of the memories and friends he made there.

Tony is survived by his wife, Madelin Pajas of Bella Vista, Ark.; only son, Christopher Pajas of Bella Vista, Ark.; a brother Ricky Pajas of Livonia, Mich., and two sisters, Debbi McKinley of Auburn Hills, Mich., and Cindy Pajas Ali of Denton, Texas.

Although no services were his wish, interment into the beautiful Kootenai River, which he loved so dearly, will be his final resting place.

When you see the Kootenai, occasionally remember Tony. He will be in our memories and hearts forever.
