Troy boys finish in third place

Troy’s boys finished third at the Western B divisional track meet. Bigfork cleaned up on the team trophies, with their boys scoring 155 over Plains’ 154 and Troy’s 62. The Bigfork girls scored 128 to Thompson Falls’ 69, with Troy at the back of the pack with just three points.

Troy’s Sean Opland dominated the field in three events, the 100-meter dash, the 200-meter dash and the high jump. Eureka’s Christian Langston finished just behind Opland in both dashes, placing second.

Eureka’s Nolan Hofstee took home the triple jump championship, reaching 41-9.

Eureka’s Kaylee Kronsperger finished third in the high jump event.
