William A. Farnsworth

William A. Farnsworth, 61, of Libby, died on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Health Center Northwest in Kalispell after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born on Jan. 23, 1954, at Portland, Ore., to Victor and Laura Farnsworth. He was known as “Papa Bill” to many, and Bill to others.

He married Tina Kalman on April 3, 1975, in Huntington Beach, Calif., and they made their final move to Libby in 1994.

Bill worked for Achievements prior to being diagnosed with cancer. In his lifetime he was fortunate to have possessed the skills to work in many different fields and touch many different lives. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. 

Bill enjoyed reading, playing pool and spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends. He was a loving husband, devoted father, grandfather and friend to all who crossed his path.

Survivors include his wife Tina A. Farnsworth of Libby; children, Donovan Farnsworth, Brandon Farnsworth and fiancée SuAnne, Kethan Farnsworth (Amy), all of Libby; a sister Carol Farnsworth of California; a brother Michael Lord of Oregon; sisters-in-law, Valarie Ross and Nashell Leydekkers and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and adopted kids along the way.
