Timber Beast tourney in Troy this Saturday

The Timber Beast Disc Golf Tournament will be held in Troy Saturday, June 20. 

There will be nine divisions and two pools of play. Pool A will consist of the advanced men’s, advanced master’s, advanced grandmaster’s, intermediate men’s and recreational men’s groups. Pool B will consist of All Pro divisions, advanced women, recreational women and junior groups. 

The first round for Pool A will start at 8:20 a.m. In between the first and second rounds there will be a players meeting. The second round  will start at 1:30 p.m. 

The first round for Pool B will start at 11 a.m. The players meeting between rounds for Pool B will be held at 4 p.m. The second round for Pool B will start at 4:10 p.m. 

Following the completion of Pool B’s final round there will be a Discs Across the Kootenai Big Arm Contest.

Troy City Council member Kimberly Rowse said, “It’s a good time and it’s good for the community. It brings quite a few people into the town.”
