Despicable actions of Roll created this mess

Letter to the Editor:

Ed Baker,

If you know anything about pigs you would know they do not remain around other animals, especially jack-asses. Proper jack-asses are welcome, others are rejected.

Now that both of us need to repent because of our name-calling, let’s stop.

Who are these pigs or pig that you and yours play with? Which side does the dirt come from?

I don’t know you, but please leave the people in this community alone. There are wonderful people here and I object strongly to how they have been treated. They deserve better.

You support Mayor Roll. That’s your privilege, but most of us have watched the fiasco over the election and behavior toward Councilman Olsen. He was treated shamefully. This never should have happened but it did. Olsen had rent receipts and that should have been enough, but of course it wasn’t.

You know if I owned or rented six homes and slept in each one, that’s legal for anyone. This was despicable.

Ms. Crow hit it on the head. When Roll took taxpayer funds to make money on a county vehicle he should have been forced to resign. He kept mum until he was caught, then returned the money and claimed he didn’t know it was a conflict of interest.

Give us a break. If you don’t know the basic ethical rules, don’t run for office.

Where was the city council while this was going on? Holding his hat?

You know the actions of everyone who was involved, so you must understand why people are disgusted and distrustful with some of our leaders.

When adults make excuses or act like snotty-nosed brats, they are shameful and a blight to the community. Individuals committed this atrocity, let them handle their own problems.
