Proud to live in a community where people care
I would like to give a hats off and a huge thank you to two brave Libby High School girls and the Libby City and Lincoln County police. On the evening of Saturday May 16, there was a commotion outside my house. In the midst of the commotion, I could hear two young voices asking a man if he was alright and if he needed them to call 911.
Upon reaching the street, I could see what had happened. An elderly man had fallen in the middle of Louisiana Avenue. The two young ladies, along with myself and a few others, assisted the elderly man. The situation wasn’t fun and it wasn’t pretty, but those two ladies gave aide through the entirety of the event. They were caring, polite and respectful.
After a few minutes, several city and county police officers came to our location. The officers did a great job. They were exceptionally courteous and professional.
I am proud to live in a community with such upright youth and law enforcement. To the two young ladies and the officers who responded: Thank you for being who you are and for representing our community in a positive way!
