Jesse Allen James

Jesse Allen James, 47, of Libby, went to be with the Lord and to join his parents, David and Beverly James, on Sunday, June 7, 2015.  He was born on June 21, 1967, in Libby to David and Beverly (Syverson) James.  He grew up in Libby and attended school in Libby through his junior year at which time he went to stay with his sister, Marilyn, and graduated in 1985 from Three Forks High School.  He met and married Renee Peterson during his senior year and later divorced.

He had three children, Megan, Corey and Hannah.  Jesse held many jobs in his short life, but always fulfilled his duties.  He worked at a Coke plant in Bozeman shortly after graduation.  He had planned to serve in the Navy was denied due to having bee allergies.  He worked at a LP Mill and did many carpeting and flooring jobs in the Libby and Kalispell areas.  He also worked at the Libby Care Center for about two years before becoming disabled with asbestosis.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles.  Jesse enjoyed life and was an avid fisherman and hunter.  Most of all, Jesse loved his children, grandchildren and family.

Jesse is survived by his three children, Megan Ann James (Ellis Willoughby), Corey Robert James (Tanya Schnitzler) and Hannah Lea James; seven grandchildren, Aren James, Ava Willoughby, Jocelyn and Zeke Weber, Eli Barry, Tucker and Alea James; brothers David (Hazel), Kenny (Cindy), Cliff (Linda), Russell (Heather), Steve (Stephanie), Terry and Tim; sisters Kathy Ginter (Arnie), Marilyn Randolph (Dennis), Dia Lanman (Bob) and Brenda James; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015, at the Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home Chapel, 422 W 2nd St., in Libby with a reception at 2 p.m. at the Jaycee Clubhouse.
