Libby's Movers & Shakers

| July 31, 2015 8:49 AM

This September, Devenne Liess, RN, CRNI will be assuming the role of Chemotherapy & Infusion Center Coordinator.  Devenne has been a registered nurse since 2006, working in the emergency rooms in Polson and in Libby prior to joining the CPMC Chemotherapy & Infusion Center in 2012.  In 2014, Devenne worked hard to receive her Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion (CRNI), and has plans to obtain her Oncology certification in the near future.

Devenne grew up in Dickinson, N.D., and has a long history in healthcare.  She started working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the age of 16 and then became a Registered Nurse in her 20s.  She is happy to be stepping into this role.  “I am going to continue to search out any new treatments and opportunities to help the people of Libby and the surrounding area stay close to home for those treatments, whenever possible,” Devenne stated.  “Additionally, this department has prided itself in the continuing education of our nurses, and I will continue to make that a priority for our patients.”

Devenne lives in Libby with her husband, Sam Scheer.  Together they have a one year old son, Benjamin.
