Jesse Lowry

Jesse C. Lowry, 45, of Troy, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015, from injuries sustained in an accident in the Yaak. He was born November 19, 1969, in Pacoima, Calif., to Michael C. and Laurie (Frice) Lowry. Jesse grew up in Grants Pass, Ore. He graduated from Hidden Valley High School with the Class of 1988. Following high school, he attended Wyoming Technical Institute and earned a mechanics license. Jesse moved back to Grants Pass and went to work at Lowry’s Lube. In 1995, he married Fran Gulick at Reno, Nev. They were blessed with two children. Jesse moved to Montana in 1996 and settled in the Yaak. He worked in Bonners Ferry for Riverside Auto for five years before going to work at Timberline Auto in 2009. Jesse loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, snow-skiing, hiking, camping, picking mushrooms and riding jet skis. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Lowry.

Survivors include his significant other Cricket Orsborn of Troy, his daughter Zoe Lowry and son Braden Lowry both of Troy; his mother Laurie Lowry (Dave) of Bend, Ore.; brothers Jeremy Lowry and Jacob Lowry (Maggie) all of Grants Pass, Ore.; his uncle John Lowry of Grants Pass, Ore.; step-son Ryley Orsborn of Troy and numerous nieces.

Services will be at 7 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2015. Take a right past the 24 mile marker on the Yaak River Road in Troy (there will be signs.) Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.schnackenbergfh.com.
