Men's league wraps up season

The Cabinet View Golf Club Tuesday Night Men’s League season ended this week, with Advantage Seal & Stripe capturing the regular season title after beating Trojan Lanes 11-5. Advantage finished the season with 104 points and will enter the four-team playoff with the top seed.

Advantage will face the winner of a sudden-death playoff between Treasure Mountain Restaurant and Trojan Lanes, both of which finished with 94 points on the season. Treasure Mountain had a bye in the final week of regular season play.

Fish ‘n’ Golf handed Roadhouse a 13-3 drubbing to jump into second place with 103 on the season. They’ll face third-seed Payne West Insurance in the first round of the playoffs. Payne West beat Annie’s Cleaners, 11-5, to cinch their spot in the playoffs.

Timberline Auto  took a 12-4 victory over Cabinet Mountain Brewery to finish sixth in regular season play with 91 points. Cabinet Mountain finished at the bottom of the leaderboard with 28.

Roadhouse and Remp’s Sand and Gravel tied for the seventh spot, with 81 points for the season. Remp’s beat the Elks Lodge 14-2 in the last week of play. The Elks finished with 60 points, in ninth place. Annie’s 45 on the season secured them 10th place.

The sudden-death match between Treasure Mountain and Trojan Lanes is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 14. The other playoff matches will begin at 6:15 p.m.

The championship and consolation matches will take place Tuesday, July 21.
