Libby boys lose on road at T-Falls

The Loggers’ struggles continued with a loss to the Bluehawks in Thompson Falls on Friday night 64-34.

With a tough shooting night, hitting on 13 of 38 shots, Libby fell behind in the opening quarters and never posed a threat to a dominant Thompson Falls team.

Collin Johnson and Michael Curtiss scored eight points apiece for Libby. Curtiss was able to score his points in only eight minutes of play, going four for eight from the field. Jonny Cielak chipped in with seven points.

Trais Hoisington scored 20 points to lead the Bluehawks.

The Bluehawks (8-3) led 36-19 at halftime and scored 22 points to Libby’s four points in the third quarter to guarantee the win.

Libby (1-10) will make the short trip to Troy on Friday night to play the Trojans (4-6). The boys varsity game tips-off at 7 p.m.
