Libby’s Lady Loggers picked up a win on the road Friday night at Thompson Falls 57-48.

Coach Jim May said, “It was a tough road win against a talented team that plays very well at home.”

Hailey Craig netted 18 points, 12 by way of 3-pointers, to lead Libby to the nonconference victory over Thompson Falls.

May was pleased with his team’s offensive activity and said his players aggressively attacked the basket.

Shyla Stevenson added 12 points for the Loggers, with Dayln Germany contributing nine and Hailley Moe and Devon Gallagher chipping in with eight apiece.

May said, “We finished the game very well. We controlled the tempo on offense, and strong defensive sets and clutch free throws down the stretch were key.”

On the defensive end, May said his team still has room for improvement. He would like to see his players stay in front of the player they’re guarding more consistently.

Libby (6-6) faces Troy on the road on Friday night.
