• A woman on Iron Creek Road reported her drunk boyfriend walking down the road. Sheriff responded, but they were unable to locate the individual.
• A caller on Kaniksu Road reported a set of tracks in the snow leading to a camper on his property. Because the camper did not belong to caller, they are unable to say if anything was taken.
Jan. 6
• A city employee called to report an intoxicated man walking down the middle of Mineral Avenue dressed in black pants and jacket. The man had been removed from the train and was looking for a place to bed down.
• A man on Elk Haven Road wanted to talk with a deputy about his son taking his vehicle the prior evening without his consent.
• A caller reported a vehicle blocking a bus pick-up area on Highway 2. The vehicle was stuck and did not pose a road hazard.
• A person requested to talk with an officer about stolen medications. She was advised to visit the police department.
• A caller reported a possible vehicle fire on California Ave. Police and Fire Departments responded to the call.
• A woman on Louisiana Avenue called to report a break-in at her home and was unsure if the man, who she believed to be her boyfriend’s brother, was still there. A 26-year old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
• A student’s iPhone was reported stolen at an area school.
Jan. 7
• The manager at a local motel called to report a guest had punched out a window. The caller said she kicked the guest out and was afraid they would leave without paying for the damage. Police responded and the person said it was an accident and would pay to replace it.
• A business on 3rd Street called to report they had a sack they believed to contain stolen merchandise that had been there since the summer and requested an officer come pick it up.
• A call came from an alarm company requesting an officer check on an alarm signal at a business on Highway 2.
• A caller on Granite Creek Road called to report her sister was drunk and walking barefoot down the road
