Obama's communist tendencies make America worse

Guest Commentary:

During his six years as president of our nation, Barack Obama has delivered an extraordinary number of speeches. His talks are delivered with such confidence and conviction, they have the power to persuade. But, when the content of these talks is examined and compared, it is obvious that integrity is not among the virtues of this man. Other presidents have lied to the people in order to achieve their agendas, but the level of deceit in the Obama administration has reached an unprecedented level. A level, I believe, that is unmatched in American history and perhaps world history as well.

For reasons not readily apparent, the mainstream news media has chosen not to report the gross deceit of Obama’s administration and instead attempts to put a favorable spin on scandal after scandal, or ignores them altogether.

 The American electorate has sufficient love of freedom and common sense to make the correct choices for their representation in government if given truthful information on which to make those choices. Unfortunately, the news media is so infused with liberal ideology it is not reporting the truth and the people are being deceived and betrayed.

The same liberal ideology that has contaminated the press has also found its way into our institutions of learning. At schools of all levels, teachers and curriculum are increasingly slanted toward socialism. History is literally being rewritten to glorify leftist ideology while condemning free enterprise and self initiative.

After six years of Obama’s push toward communism, our country is worse off in every category than when his “Hope and Change” program began, yet the American people are so indoctrinated by the press and by academic propaganda they are slow to react. The recent election results are a good start in the right direction, but a complete rejection of central control by big government will be required before we can return to solvency and sanity.
