Dec. 20

• A person from Spencer Road requested to talk with a deputy about a window being broken by a neighbor.

• A man found a purse on Second Street and brought it to dispatch. The owner’s father was contacted and he said he would tell her to pick up the purse.

• An individual called to report three horses on Highway 37 near mile marker 49. The owners of the horses retrieved them and will check their fences.

• A woman from a local business called Libby Police to request that a man and woman at the business making her uncomfortable be removed from the premises.

• An employee at a local casino reported a suspicious vehicle running behind the business and requested officers check the vehicle. The operator of the car was taking a nap.

Dec. 21

• A 27-year-old man was issued a citation for driving under the influence near a local gas station.

• Police were called to respond to a woman who was pushed from a moving vehicle and had her money taken by her boyfriend on Highway 2 and California Avenue. An ambulance was also called to the scene.

• A vehicle was broken into at an area trailer court. The woman said her stereo was taken from her car.

• A rock slide was reported near Rainy Creek on Highway 37 near Mile Marker 5. Responders directed traffic and removed debris from the road.

• A woman on Reserve Road called to report her daughter missing. The woman last saw her 19-year-old daughter on Dec.19.

Dec. 22

• A caller reported a purse found in the bushes behind an office building on Second Street with contents scattered on the ground. The caller left the purse at the scene.

• Deputies arrested a man at the Port of Rooseville on an outstanding warrant.

• A woman at a trailer court called to report suspicious people scoping out residences. When she confronted them they fled and she followed them to a local business. They then drove towards Troy on Highway 2.

Dec. 23

• A woman called from an area trailer court and reported that her mother was beaten up by her boyfriend. A man was arrested and charged with probation violation.

• A Libby woman called from Troy and reported being beaten by her cousin. Troy police responded and drove her back to her residence in Libby.

• A caller on Pioneer Road said she suspected her sister was trying to poison her. She was unable to give dispatch an address or phone number for her sister.

• A woman called from Ninneman Road to report her gun stolen. She called back and gave the serial number of the weapon.

• A caller on Kearney Avenue reported her and her husband were being controlled by another individual. She couldn’t give her location or phone number. She said she wants to come back to Libby, but is scared.

• A woman called from Reserve Road after she returned home and noticed her gate was off its hinges and her Christmas lights were torn down. She was advised to not enter her home until law enforcement arrived.

• A man called to report people throwing snowballs at his house and making noise. He asked them to stop and they refused. Police responded to the complaint.

• A caller on Old Highway 2 wanted to talk with an officer regarding an item given to his child by the child’s uncle that he believed may be stolen.
