Jimmie McKay

Jimmie Patrick McKay (Pat) passed away on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015.

He was helped with his journey into the arms of the Lord by his wife of 64 years, June, his son and daughter-in-law, Jimmie and Lindsay McKay and daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Shan Bush, Patricia and Mitch Bush, Debbie and Doug Davis, along with all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was greeted in heaven by his parents James McKay and Goldie Stuber; sister Bonnie; son Aaron and granddaughter Tori.

Pat is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Mike, Jerry, Rosemarie, Tim, Steve, Sharon, Tom and Judy.

Pat was born Sept. 11, 1929, and lived and worked in the Big Timber area until 1964, when he and his family moved to Libby and worked at the lumber mill until his retirement. In 2002 Pat and June moved to Spokane, Wash., to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

Pat spent 85 wonderful years learning while growing up, loving his wife and children, making and visiting friends and relatives, exploring, hiking, hunting, predicting and philosophizing.

A memorial to his life will be held at 1 p.m. March 14 at the Big House, 2526 S. Park Dr. Spokane, Wash.
