Libby needs better oversight
Letter to the Editor:
Why is it that Libby city leadership continues to penalize its residents? The latest target of city leadership is the Libby Baptist Church.
The mayor refuses to admit the city’s Cabinet Heights project is to blame. Why is it that Mayor Roll often sides with the out-of-town contractors when it comes to protecting Libby residents’ property from poorly executed projects including Cabinet Heights?
City residents already paid almost $80,000 to pave Cabinet Heights because Mayor Roll sided with the contractors. People in Cabinets are still dealing with faulty backfills that have created sink-holes.
Is the city leadership going to force every resident to fix contractors’ mistakes?
Libby Baptist Church needs our support in this matter. The city leadership’s questionable actions have led to concerns with these infrastructure projects.
Are Libby residents going to have to worry about the Flower Creek Dam project? Greater oversight is needed to prevent these types of issues.
